The last time I saw Ken was shortly after my Dad, Bruce Ludwig, trained RBI. I came by this site on accident but I am glad I did, it has brought back some good memories. I am sorry to hear about the loss, just remember the good times past.

I was sorry to hear about Ken's passing. He was a true gentleman and I enjoyed his company afield. If the measure of someone is the mark they leave on those they meet, he will be remembered as someone who left a big mark.

It has been a long time since I last saw Mr. Middleton but I have the fondest memories of him at Mark's ball games. You could always hear Ken. He was a great man. I am sorry for his passing. Ken was very instrumental in my baseball career. He devoted his time and lots of money to see that his "Phelps Dodgers" were competitive back in the day. The Vegas tournaments were a blast! For that I am truly thankful. Thank you Ken, and God Bless you!

Truly sorry to hear of Ken's passing. Ken first introduced Jayne and me to High Desert Hunt Club when we first moved to AZ. Although we never hunted with Ken we always looked forward to visiting with him at the clubhouse before or after going to the fields. I truly considered him a friend. Mark, you have big shoes to fill. We moved back to Texas in 2007 but miss you guys and the fun we had at High Desert.

To Ken's Family.....I unknowingly called Ken today to renew his ad in the AZ hunting regs. book and was both shocked & saddened to learn of his passing. He was ALWAYS such a pleasure to talk to and I know he is greatly missed. May God be with you all as you grieve for you loved one. I have known the Middleton Family for about 8 years now. My dad and I both have great dogs from him. He is missed and thought of often. I am thankful for the friend that he was to me and that I can shoot staight enough to make him smile while he looks down to give me luck while I am in the fields. Thanks for the great memories Ken!

I am surprised to hear that Ken is no longer with us. I only knew him for a short period of time. I worked with Ken during the beginning of summer in 2006 and had to leave for Boot Camp. My thoughts and prayers go to his family, which if they were anything like him, are great people. Now God can go birdhunting now that he has someone to train his dogs. He will be missed. Semper Fidelis, Ken.

I am shocked and dismayed to read of Ken's death. A loss to all especially his loving family and so many great dogs from the present and future. I was lucky to hunt with both Ken and Mark, and send my best to those left. This year as bird season rolls around will not be the same for me and everyone lucky enough to have hunted with Ken. Sail on Ken. Sadly, Richard

Marla Mark and Mike- I have known and hunted with Ken since the time he got his first bird dog, RBI. I too had my first bird dog about that time and we met while Bruce Ludwig was training our dogs, needless to say Bruce spent more time training us! This past year Ken trained my new dog for me and did a superb job. It was great to rekindle an old friendship. He was so proud of his kids and he was a great man. I know him and RBI are running around up there having fun. He will be missed down here! All my best to the family--Mike

First you must know our thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones he leaves behind, that being said I hope he has gathered up his love once again and scouted the next best place to run our dogs and enjoy the sight of them in all their glory. Was it not for Ken many people would never know the full enjoyment of what working with a bird dog is, we are a small community growing readily because of great men/and women who are sportsmen in their soul and being in the field with your best hunting partner is an experience only a lucky few know, your father set forth a standard and his legacy will remain in the many prodigy that we will carry on with through the years in the middleton style god speed Ken hope the cover is great and the coveys are plenty just save some for me.

I just met Ken about a month ago regarding a puppy I am training. Ken graciously assessed our progress. In the short time I have known Ken, I could tell he was a good soul and enjoyed a good bit of humor. I believe all of our lives are better for having known him. To the family - my thoughts and prayers are with you.
